>Grading the Bills

Running game: B-

Willis showed guts again, coming back after big hit. He ran 28 times for 79 yards. Bills ran enough to control clock.

Passing game: B

Another solid day for Losman. Nice long balls to Evans, Royal. Excellent protection. Great run after catch by Reed.

Run defense: A

Kept run in check after first quarter. Good job by front seven. Fletcher had his usual solid game.

Pass defense: A

They covered everything. Another strong day for Clements. Thomas tough on Welker in slot. Two interceptions.

Special teams: B

Moorman had four punts inside 20. Beautiful. Coverage was good on Welker. Parrish had two good returns, one bad one.

Coaching: A

The coaches are getting the most out of this roster. O-line getting better. Defense improving. Patient approach paying off.

>Grading the Dolphins

Running game: C

Morris had 60 yards in first half, 11 in second. Failed on key short-yardage play. Could not get outside.

Passing game: F

How bad was Harrington? His passer rating was 0.0. Even his short throws were way off. Didn't it rain in Oregon?

Run defense: B

Miami's big, veteran Dline is really good. Thomas roamed free and made 21 tackles. Bills had 2.7 a carry.

Pass defense: D

Broke down on Royal and Evans TDs. Managed three sacks but nowhere near as effective as last week versus Pats.

Special teams: B-

Punter hit coffin corner early, boomed one from his own end zone. Penalty on opening kickoff erased good return.

Coaching: D

Fish offense shoots blanks. Welcome back, Mike Mularkey. Needed better from defense.
