Lottie McCallum, an active volunteer and Western Electric retiree, died Friday in ElderWood Health Care at Linwood, Lancaster. She was 105.
Born Lottie Stroud in Tyre, Mich., she moved to Buffalo 75 years ago.
A Western Electric employee for 20 years, Mrs. McCallum operated a wire machine. She retired in the mid-1960s.
For 35 years, she was a volunteer driver for the Red Cross. She also was considered a life member of the Physically Disabled Association and was active in the Blind Association. For 17 years, she was a member of the Senior Citizens of the Salvation Army.
Her husband, Ray, died in 1957.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in James E. Grace Funeral Home, 335 Ontario St.
