Lindsay M. Zitzka became the bride of Bradley J. Banaszak of Buffalo as the couple were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Amelia Catholic Church, Town of Tonawanda. The Rev. Paul P. Sabo of Visitation Church heard their exchange of nuptial vows. Parents of the bride are Beth Zitzka and Curt Johnson of Tonawanda and the late Douglas Zitzka. A reception was given in Seneca Niagara Casino Hotel, Niagara Falls, to honor the bride and bridegroom, who will make their home in Buffalo after traveling to Negril, Jamaica. The bride is a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School and Erie Community College and is attending Buffalo State College. The bridegroom is employed by Zumbino Construction as a laborer.


To be making their home in San Antonio, Texas, are Army Sgt. James J. Scott, who is stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and his bride, Dominga Franco. The couple were united in marriage during a cermony that took place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Victory Basilica. A reception was given in McKinley's Hotel and Banquet Center. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armando Franco of Eagle Pass, Texas. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Zawadzki of Lackawanna and the late James Scott. The bride is a graduate of Eagle Pass High School and University of Texas at San Antonio, where she is pursuing a master's degree in accounting. The bridegroom is a graduate of St. Francis High School and Hilbert College.


A reception was given in Connecticut Street Armory for Megan Martz and Stephen Rodriguez after they exchanged nuptial vows at 4 p.m. Saturday in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. The Rev. Arthur J. Smith performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of David and Jean Martz of Buffalo. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert Rodriguez and Deborah Larimer, both of Newark, Del. After a trip to the Caribbean, the couple will live in Philadelphia, Pa. The bride, a special education teacher in Springfield Township Middle School, Oreland, Pa., is a graduate of Buffalo State College, where she received a master's degree. The bridegroom is a graduate of Drexel University and is an aerospace engineer with Boeing.


Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Lockport, was the setting at 4 p.m. Saturday as Amanda Suzanne Payne and Michael Gregory Shamrock were married by the Rev. Duane Priset. The bride is the daughter of Jud R. and Claudia L. Payne of Depew and the bridegroom is the son of Michael J. and M. Joan Shamrock of North Tonawanda. A reception was given in Sean Patrick's Emerald Isle. The newly married couple will live in Cheektowaga after traveling to the Dominican Republic. They are graduates of Nazareth College of Rochester and are music teachers in Lancaster Central School District. The bride is a graduate of Lancaster Central High School and the bridegroom is a graduate North Tonawanda High School.
