This year's Kissmas Bash, presented by Kiss 98.5 FM, takes place on Sunday inside HSBC Arena, and will feature a fairly diverse lineup of acts, all fitting loosely within the Top 40 format.
Things are scheduled to get under way at 5:30 p.m., as newcomer Joanna offers a set in the lobby of the arena. The concert on the main stage begins at 6 p.m., with a set from Cherish. At 6:30, the always enjoyable hip-hop ensemble Gym Class Heroes plays a set of tunes concentrating on its latest release, the delectable genre-hopping "As Cruel as Schoolchildren."
Mario Vazquez follows with a performance scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m., and New Found Glory brings the emo-rock immediately following, beginning at 7:45. Frankie J, Nick Lachey and Chingy bring a blend of pop, R&B and hip-hop to the Kissmas stage to round the evening off.
Tickets for the annual holiday festival range in price from $17.50 to $50, and can be found now at the HSBC Arena box office or through www.Tickets.com.
