Edward E. Andrzejewski of Cheektowaga, a veteran of the Vietnam War, died Sunday in the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Cheektowaga, after a long illness. He was 63.
Born in Erie, Pa., he served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 with the 9th Administration Company, 9th Infantry Division. He was a specialist 5.
Mr. Andrzejewski worked for 26 years at Pine Hill Fabricators as a cabinetmaker, retiring in 2004. He also worked as a welder and crane operator for Ernst Steel and as a millwright for Bethlehem Steel Corp.
He was a 20-year member of the Coaster Club, an organization of roller-coaster enthusiasts, that took him to several theme parks.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Ferrio; two sons, Nick T. Ferrio and Edward; three daughters, Debbie Epperson, Gina Ferrio and Tricia; and two brothers, Raymond Andrews and Joseph.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. today in Resurrection Catholic Church, Union Road and Como Park Boulevard, Cheektowaga.
