Harold Fein, of Buffalo, died Sunday in Buffalo General Hospital. He was 86.
Born in New York City, he worked in the garment industry there and obtained his first degree from New York University in accounting and subsequently became a CPA.
After moving to Buffalo, he worked for the Internal Revenue Service. He moved to Boston, Mass., in 1945 to earn his law degree from Harvard University.
Mr. Fein then returned to Buffalo, where he opened up his law and CPA practice until retiring in 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Lee, and a daughter, Pamela.
A burial service will be at 2 p.m. today in Forest Lawn Chapel.
