The Western New York chapter of the National Football Foundation will hold its sixth scholar-athlete awards dinner Dec. 18 at Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant.
One football player from ECC, Buffalo State and the University at Buffalo will be honored along with representatives from the Msgr. Martin Association, Harvard Cup and Section VI.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: The first of three cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or nature walks at the Penn Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center in Hamburg will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Participants must bring their own equipment.
