Robert Jordan, a Buffalo Psychiatric Center retiree, died Friday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 71.
Mr. Jordan, born and raised in Buffalo, was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He attended the University at Buffalo and later worked at West Seneca Developmental Center. For 10 year, Mr. Jordan worked for the Buffalo Psychiatric Center, where he was in charge of clothing distribution. He retired in 1998.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherrie; a son, Michael; and two sisters, Idella Counts and Dorothy Price.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Unity Church, 1243 Delaware Ave.
