Robert B. Littlefield of West Falls died Thursday in the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in Cheektowaga. He was 77.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Littlefield retired in 1989 after 43 years with New York Telephone and AT&T.
He served in the Army during the Korean War and with the Air Force 107th Air Squadron during the Vietnam War. He retired from the military as an engineer and drill instructor after nearly 34 years of active and reserve service. He was an expert marksman on both Air Force and Army shooting teams.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Reita Ramming; two sons, Robert T. and Timothy W.; and two brothers, Richard E. and Donald A.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Monday in St. Luke's Anglican Chapel, 591 Porterville Road, East Aurora.
