Commuting Concerns / Trouble spots for the upcoming week

Scajaquada Expressway (Route 198, Buffalo): The westbound ramp to Niagara Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday.

Mainline Thruway (Interstate 90, Cheektowaga): Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Monday through Saturday from Exit 50 (Youngmann Highway, I-290) to Exit 50A (Cleveland Drive).

Niagara Thruway (I-190, Buffalo): The left lane of the southbound ramp at Exit 9 (Peace Bridge/Porter Avenue) will be closed all week. East Tupper Street (Buffalo): Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Kensington Expressway (Route 33).

Genesee Street (Cheektowaga): Construction work will continue all week in front of Buffalo Niagara International Airport, from Dick Road to Holtz Road. Expect lane restrictions.

Lein Road (West Seneca): Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Aurora Expressway (Route 400).

Niagara Street (Buffalo): Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions Monday through Friday at the Scajaquada Expressway (Route 198). Strykersville Road (Route 78, Wales): Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions from East Creek Road to Centerline Road from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. all week.

Southwestern Boulevard (Route 20, Hamburg): Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions all week from Camp Road (Route 75) to Amsdell Road.

Tonawanda Creek Road (Clarence): The road will be closed in both directions all week from Transit Road (Route 78) to Westphalinger Road.
