Gueli, a CPA, has more than 17 years of experience providing audit and consulting services to many businesses and non-profit agencies throughout Western New York. She also specializes in employee benefit plans. A graduate of Geneseo State College, Gueli joined the firm in 2002.
White Directory Publishers, a division of Hearst Holdings, publishers of The Talking Phone Book, appointed Jeff Folckemer chief operating officer. Folckemer currently serves as chief information officer and director of business development. He joined the company in 1999. He is a graduate of Canisius College. Also, the company promoted Mike Wrobleski to vice president of operations and Greg Garrick vice president of marketing. Wrobleski has served as the director of operations at the company for the past year, and worked for three years as director of production. He holds an MBA from the University at Buffalo. Garrick has served as director of marketing for the company since July 2005 and has 10 years experience in management, marketing and corporate development.
The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor Commission re-elected Eric Mower chair of the federal organization for 2007. Mower also is chairman and chief executive officer of Eric Mower and Associates, a marketing communications agency. The Commission encourages and assists historic preservation, conservation, recreation, interpretation, tourism, and community development along the Erie Canalway and also interprets the Canalway's historical, natural, cultural, scenic and recreational resources in ways that reflect its national significance.
Time Warner Cable named Dan Hanssel marketing director at its Buffalo Division. A University at Buffalo graduate, Hanssel previously was director of product management with CTE in Wilkes Barre, Pa. Also, the cable provider named David DeCirce the business class director of the Buffalo Division. He has been with the company since 1996, serving as general manager of its Road Runner residential sales and operations component in the Binghamton Division. In 2004 he was promoted to director of its business class.
Career Partners International/RW Caldwell Associates, a Williamsville-based global human resources consulting and recruiting firm, promoted Mark Weigel to president. With the firm since 2000, Weigel previously was vice president of sales and client relations.
Univera Healthcare, a Buffalo-based health plan, appointed Dr. Steven C. Dina associate medical director.
