The Town of Hamburg Recreation Department will offer two eight-week instructional programs for skiing and snowboarding at Kissing Bridge starting Jan. 6.
Each session for youths ages 9 to 18 will allow for one hour of instruction by a member of the Kissing Bridge staff followed by several hours of skiing or riding. Bus transportation will be provided from several Hamburg locations.

Kyle Harrison, the 2005 college lacrosse Player of the Year from the national champion Johns Hopkins Blue Jays, will put on a shooting and dodging exhibition Friday at an open house for the Wilson High School club lacrosse team.
The event, at which prospective players and their parents can learn about the team and the winter instructional program, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Zipp Gym. Doors open at 6:30. Wilson plays in the Independent Lacrosse Conference.
Harrison will tell the story of his lacrosse career, sign autographs and showcase his new line of equipment. He is a member of Major League Lacrosse's New Jersey Pride.
FOOTBALL: The sectional championships in five age groups for the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition will be held Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium, starting at 9 a.m. The passing exhibition will be held at halftime of the game between the Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills, with winners being announced after the third quarter.
