NIAGARA FALLS -- Phyllis E. Jahn of Niagara Falls, a retired bookkeeper, died Monday in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 100.
Born in Toronto, she moved to Niagara Falls as a child and attended local schools.
After retiring from Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. in 1973, she worked as a bookkeeper at the Niagara Falls law firm of Hovey and Massaro for 30 years.
A world traveler, Miss Jahn visited major capitals in Europe, China and Japan.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
