Mary Dudek, a homemaker, died Wednesday in her home. She was 86.
Born Mary Korczynski in Buffalo, she attended schools in Buffalo before the family moved to Gasport.
Mrs. Dudek was an avid grower of flowers and vegetables.
Her niece Elinor Stone said, "She was a wonderful cook and baker."
She lived on a farm in Gasport until the 1980s, when she moved to Lockport.
Her husband of 58 years, John, died in August 2004.
She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Kearns.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Mother of the Rosary Cathedral of the Polish National Catholic Church, 5776 Broadway, Lancaster.
