Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Clarence, was the setting at noon Saturday as Jodi C. Alaimo became the bride of Robert J. Guida. The couple exchanged nuptial vows before Monsignor Frederick D. Leising. A reception was given in Beaver Island State Park clubhouse for the newly married couple, who will be making their home in East Amherst. The bride is the daughter of Sonia Alaimo of Niagara Falls and James Alaimo of Boynton Beach, Fla., and the bridegroom is the son of Barbara and Robert Guida of Clarence. The bride is a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and Niagara County Community College and is a patient access representative at St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. The bridegroom, a graduate of Canisius High School and Canisius College, is the owner of a John & Mary's restaurant. He served in the Army seven years and is a captain in the Army National Guard.
