Esther H. Woodruff, who worked almost four decades as a waitress and bartender, died Monday in the Waters of Aurora Park. She was 93.
Born Esther Sager in Farnham, she worked at Garry's, Augie's and Anacone's for a total of 37 years, retiring in 1970. She had lived in Cheektowaga for more than 60 years.
Her husband, Donald J., died in 1954.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Spaulding of Cheektowaga and Shirley Burczynski of Amherst; a sister, Elsie Sager of Farnham; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial in Forest Lawn is private.
