EVENT: The Make-A-Wish Foundation invites guests to dress as their favorite TV celebrity, movie character, or rock star to its black tie affair today at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. The event will begin with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m., live entertainment by SaxMan Slim and the Boys of Summer, a silent auction, followed by dinner and a live auction at 7:30 p.m. The "lifetime achievement" award will be presented to Rick Zelasko, president of Zelasko Construction. PLAY DAY: To encourage healthy living and fight child obesity, the YMCA of Greater Buffalo will host an activity-filled celebration as part of annual YMCA Healthy Kids Day. Activities will include exercise demonstrations, bounce houses, Easter egg hunts, healthy snacks, swimming, face painting, and more.
