Robert C. Dailey, printing company worker Feb. 10, 1930 -- March 28, 2006

Robert C. Dailey died Tuesday in Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk. He was 76.

A graduate of Dunkirk High School, he served in the Navy aboard the USS The Sullivans during the Korean War.

He worked for Great Lakes Color Printing for 37 years.

Mr. Dailey was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Dunkirk and the Jaycees and was a member of Post 59, American Legion, in Fredonia; Hanover Lodge, Free & Accepted Masons, of Forestville; and the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, the former Jeanne Abramowicz; a son, Timothy of Lake Parsippany, N.J.; a daughter, Laurel Mancuso of Sheridan; a brother, Frank of Indianapolis; a sister, Ruth Mitchell of Lakeland, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church, 15 E. Sixth St., Dunkirk. Burial will be scheduled.
