Attack sends man, 57, to hospital with cuts
A Holden Avenue man was taken to the Erie County Medical Center late Wednesday after he was attacked on the city's West Side and suffered a severe laceration to his left eye, Buffalo police reported.
Jackson Norville, 57, was struck multiple times in the head with an unknown object at 91 Whitney Place about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. He suffered multiple cuts to his face and head, including a 3-inch laceration to his left eye.
A Niagara Street man found Norville semi-conscious and he was taken to the hospital, police said. His condition was not immediately available.
