Grace Wynn of Fort Myers, Fla., a former Buffalo resident, died last Friday in Kindred Hospital, Tampa, Fla., after a lengthy illness. She was 73.
Born Grace Budziejko in Buffalo, she attended Buffalo schools. The mother of five, she was a receptionist for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra for several years, first as a volunteer, then as a paid employee.
Mrs. Wynn moved to Florida in 1990 to care for her ailing mother, then worked for 10 years as a delicatessen clerk in a Winn-Dixie supermarket.
She enjoyed attending various churches, taking snapshots and entering sweepstakes. She also was an animal lover.
Her first husband, Marion Arakelian, died in 1981. Her second husband, Jay Wynn, died in 2000.
Surviving are two daughters, Laura O'Connell of Fort Myers and Jackie Zoffke of Angola; three sons, Lloyd Arakelian of West Seneca, Richard Arakelian of the Town of Tonawanda and David Arakelian of Ischua; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
