Kathryn Zucarelli, a former South Buffalo resident, died March 20 in Glencroft Healthcare Center, Phoenix, after a long illness. She was 55.
Born Kathryn McNab in Toronto, she grew up in West Seneca, moved to Lackawanna in 1972 and then to Buffalo in 1978. She settled in Glendale, Ariz., in 1982.
After graduating from West Seneca High School, she worked for National Gypsum/Gold Bond in Buffalo until the mid-1970s. After moving to Arizona, she worked for Acordia of Arizona insurance firm for seven years until leaving work on a disability about three years ago.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony E.; a son, Anthony J. of Peoria, Ariz.; a daughter, Lisa of Glendale; three sisters, Lynda Kelso of Toronto, Cheryl Zmuda of Cincinnati and Mary Lou Moeller of Sun City, Ariz.; a brother, James McNab of Orchard Park; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday in Heritage Funeral Chapel, Peoria, Ariz. Burial was in Phoenix Memorial Park.
