Kenneth J. Staub, a retired project engineer, died Saturday at home after a long illness. He was 84.
A native of the LaSalle section of Niagara Falls, he attended local schools.
He served with the Army's 30th Engineer Battalion in Africa and the Pacific Theater during World War II.
Mr. Staub was a senior project engineer at Moore Business Forms, retiring in 1982.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the LaSalle Sportsmen's Club.
His wife, Elizabeth Asma Staub, died in 1998.
Survivors include five daughters, Judith Hosmer of Stockton, Calif., Carol Sievert of Portland, Ore., Diane of Niagara Falls, Janelle Dooley of West Bloomsfield, Mich., and Kathleen Clark of Lewiston; a son, Kenneth K. of Lewiston; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Prayers will be said at 9 a.m. Thursday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Prince of Peace Church, 1065 Military Road. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
