ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT spaghetti dinners will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday in Eden United Methodist Church, 2820 E. Church St. The tab at the door is $7 for adults and $4.50 for young people. FLEA MARKET -- Ann Pettit, publicity chairwoman of the Elma Ladies Auxiliary, sent word that the auxiliary will sponsor a spring flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Elma Fire Company Social Hall, 2945 Bowen Road. Tables are $10 each. For reservations and information, call 652-2319.
TO THE OLD SOD -- The Rev. Art Smith, pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, and Tom Higgins, former Erie County sheriff, will lead a group to the Emerald Isle in September.
The trip, which will include a special event hosted by Buffalo's Sister City, Limerick, will depart Sept. 22 and return Sept. 30. Also on the list of places to be visited are Galway, Knock, Donegal and Killarney.
Cost of the trip is $1,749 per person. The price includes an early booking bonus available until Thursday. It includes round-trip transfers from Buffalo to Toronto and round-trip air from Toronto to Shannon International Airport as well as hotel cost for seven nights. REAL MAPLE SYRUP will be served during Boy Scout Troop 117's all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday in St. John's School, Westwood and Sandridge roads. The breakfast costs $5.50 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 6 to 10. Kids younger than 6 eat free. The meal also will include farm-fresh sausage, hash browns, fruit and a beverage.
