Betty Jane Burtch, a lifelong resident of the City of Tonawanda, died Saturday in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Town of Tonawanda, after a brief illness. She was 82.
Born Betty Jane Mislin, she was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in the City of Tonawanda and the Ladies Auxiliary of Tonawandas' Post 264, American Legion.
Her husband, Charles F., died in 1987.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Ross of Buffalo, Tracy of Alden and Deborah of the City of Tonawanda; a son, Ralph of the City of Tonawanda; three sisters, Bonnie Cloutier of Buffalo and Dorothy Woods and Grace Huebner, both of North Tonawanda; a brother, William Mislin of the Town of Tonawanda; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St., City of Tonawanda. Burial will be private.
