Betty Hough, a retired legal secretary, died Thursday in her Niagara Falls home after a long illness. She was 75.
Miss Hough was born in Derby, England, and moved to the United States in 1963. She worked as a legal secretary for Conbow Corp. for about 30 years, retiring in the late 1990s.
She was active in Youth Hostel and the Niagara Council of the Arts, according to a nephew, Roger Dominick of Auburn. She also enjoyed traveling, including to Europe and her native England.
Miss Hough was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
A memorial service was held today in Lane Funeral Home. Burial was private.
