Gary R. Blanc of Medina, a retired foreman, died Thursday in Orchard Manor Nursing Home following a long illness. He was 69.
Mr. Blanc was born in Rochester and was a 1955 graduate of Medina High School.
He married the former Patricia Monagan in 1958 and was employed by Harrison Radiator Division in Lockport for 37 years. He retired as a foreman.
Mr. Blanc was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Medina Council 651, Knights of Columbus, where he served as grand knight for two terms. He was a member of Junior Wilson Sportsmen Club and served as the club steward. A social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, he enjoyed cards, especially euchre.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Ellen and Amy Jo, both of Medina; a son, Timothy of Albion; two brothers, Bruce of Shelby and David of Medina; and one grandson;
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1 p.m. today in St. Mary's Catholic Church, West Avenue and Eagle Street. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
