Raymond Carter, of Buffalo, died March 3 in Erie County Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 46.
Mr. Carter was born in Washington, D.C., and was a graduate of Albany Business College. He moved to Buffalo five years ago to work in the warehouse at American Sales Co. in Lancaster.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and he enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include his wife, the former Donna Kinard, whom he married in November; a daughter, Brandi; his mother, Delores; and three brothers, Wesley, Salone and Tyrone, all of Troy.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Second Chance Ministries, 381 E. Ferry St. He was buried with military honors in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
