The Tonawanda Community Fair gets going at 10 a.m. Saturday with performances, food, children's games and activities, and more. The event, which runs until 2 p.m., will feature demonstrations and information from more than 50 businesses and community organizations as well as the unveiling of a 30-year-old time capsule. Not 21? No problem

Elisa Monte Dance caps its three-week residency at the University at Buffalo with a performance at 8 p.m. today in the UB Center for the Arts, North Campus, Amherst. But the group will leave with more than just memories of Western New York; it will also have a Buffalo native. UB alumnus Joseph Celej, a 2001 graduate, joined Elisa Monte Dance last month. The company's performances captivate audiences with a highly athletic style of dance, performed by members from all corners of the globe.
