Town Park nature trail on track for this year

CAMBRIA -- The nature trail and access road for the Town Park project are expected to be completed sometime this year.

The Town Board earlier this month submitted the final parts of the environmental impact statement to the state, along with a boundary map of the project on 108 acres on Upper Mountain Road, west of Town Hall.

Supervisor Wright H. Ellis said the estimated $5.3 million project calls for a nature trail with an access road, as well as an observation and resource center, parking area, baseball field, soccer field and picnic area. The nature trail and access road will cost $300,000.
