>Jamestown police find missing woman, 67

JAMESTOWN -- A 67-year-old Jamestown woman with Alzheimer's disease who was missing since Saturday was found safe Tuesday, Jamestown police said.

Rose Ingerson of Elliott Avenue was apparently cared for by a Jamestown family for two days before she was found by police at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, walking on Newland Avenue, police said.

Before Tuesday, Ingerson was last seen driving west on Hazeltine Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, just after leaving her home.

She was turned over to Adult Protective Services, police said. The Jamestown family that took Ingerson in for the weekend was acting in good intent and will not face any charges, police said.
