A Mass of Christian Burial for Eugene Belter was offered today in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Williamsville, after prayers in Amigone Funeral Home, Cheektowaga. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Hamburg.
Mr. Belter, a West Seneca resident, died of cancer Saturday in Williamsville Suburban Health Care Center. He was 73.
Born in Buffalo, he attended Seneca Vocational High School and served in the Army and the Air Force Reserve. He was a machine operator at Chevrolet's Tonawanda Engine Plant from 1957 to 1977.
His wife, Blythe, died in 2001.
He is survived by two brothers, Raymond of Alden and Leonard of Cheektowaga.
