A service for Lurine Facen will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1525 Michigan Ave. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
Mrs. Facen died Friday in Erie County Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 84.
Born Lurine Maddox in Luverne, Ala., she was a domestic worker with Service Systems before retiring in 1982. She was a trustee and senior missionary of Bethel Church and a member of the Kings Daughters Club.
Her husband, Adolph, died in 1980.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Dean Anderson of Lilburn, Ga., and Catherine Jackson of Conyers, Ga.; a son, James I. of Buffalo; a brother, John Mapson of New York City; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
