>Woman with Alzheimer's missing in Jamestown
JAMESTOWN -- Police are looking for a 67-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease who disappeared from her home Saturday afternoon.
Rose C. Ingerson, of Elliott Street, was last seen at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, wearing a navy blue coat and green sweat pants. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weights 130 pounds.
Jamestown and Lakewood-Busti police and the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department conducted extensive searches for her Saturday and Sunday. Anyone with information is urged to call the Jamestown Police Department, 483-7537.
>Driver runs out of gas, faces charge over license
NEW ALBION -- Am East Otto man was charged over the weekend after the vehicle he was driving ran out of gas and police discovered that his driver's license had been revoked because of a prior alcohol-related offense, according to Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department.
Jay R. Williams, 31, of Reed Hill Road, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Deputies said Williams was on Leon New Albion Road when he ran out of gas at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday. A Department of Motor Vehicle check showed that his driver's license had been revoked.
Williams is scheduled to appear April 11 in New Albion Town Court.
