History museum taking orders for flower bulbs
NORTH TONAWANDA -- The North Tonawanda History Museum, in conjunction with its second annual Historic Gardens Contest and Tour, is accepting orders for flower bulbs for spring planting.
The bulbs available from Dutch Gardens include summer daffodils, sea hollies, astilbes, Asiatic lilies, balloon flowers, day lilies, freesias, oriental lilies, montbretias, peacock orchids, gladiolus, heleniums and a summer garden collection.
Prices range from $10 to $20 per package. Orders must be received before April 15, and will delivered in May.

YWCA delays leadership training program
LOCKPORT -- The YWCA of Niagara is postponing the Institute for Public Leadership, originally scheduled for Saturday at Niagara University.
The institute, a training program for women considering running for political office or taking a leadership role in their community, will be rescheduled. Word of the postponment came after the press deadline for a story about the YWCA in today's Niagara Weekend section.
