Services for Nathaniel Harris of Buffalo, a World War II veteran and retired Dresser Industries production worker, will be held at 11 a.m. today in United Memorial Funeral Home, 3272 Bailey Ave. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
Mr. Harris died Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, Cheektowaga, after a short illness. He was 79.
Born in Deeson, Miss., he came to Buffalo 60 years ago and served in the Navy during World War II. He retired in 1980.
His wife, the former Ruth Mitchell, died last July.
Survivors include a son, Lloyd Bell of Chicago; three daughters, Patricia Washington and Linda Weita, both of Chicago, and Rita Smith of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Willa Bee Grayson of Las Vegas and Malinda Haynes of Buffalo; 15 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
