Ethel J. Wiseman, a former secretary and auto worker, died Tuesday in Elderwood Health Care at Crestwood, Wheatfield, after a short illness. She was 73.
Born Ethel Davis in Chillicothe, Ohio, after moving to Western New York, she worked for several years as a secretary at the Westinghouse plant in Cheektowaga. Later, she was an assembly worker for 20 years at Harrison Radiator Division, here, retiring in 1988.
Mrs. Wiseman was a member of the Barker Alumni Association, New York State Trappers Association, Hartland Conservation Club and Hartland United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Fred, died in 2001.
Survivors include five daughters, Marion J. Mackney and Julia R. O'Shea, both of Lockport, Georgia L. Korosecz and Susanne O. Korosecz, both of North Tonawanda, Cheryl J. Schmitt of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two sons, Steven G. Korosecz of Marianna, Fla., and Gregory S. Korosecz of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Charles Davis of Medina; a sister, Phyllis Clark of Lockport; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services are private. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
