3 villages have races for mayor

Contested races for mayor highlight elections Tuesday in three Orleans County villages.

In Holley, two Village Board members -- John Kenney on the Family Party line and Thomas O' Neill for the Citizens Party -- are running for a two-year term.

Albion Mayor Edward L. Salvatore, a Republican also running on the Progressive Party line, is seeking re-election to a four-year term, opposed by Michael Hadick, a Democrat.

Four candidates -- Kevin P. Sheehan and Christopher T. Kinter, both Democrats, and H. Dale Banker and John R. Daniels of the Progressive Party -- are competing for two four-year terms on the Albion Village Board.

Marcia Tuohey, a former Medina mayor and village trustee, and Clayton Ehrenreich III, a village trustee and the candidate of the People's Party, are vying for mayor. Tuohey is running on the Independent Party line. Mayor Howard Lake is not seeking re-election.

No elections are contested in Lyndonville.
