Pomeroy IT Solutions, national solutions provider in Hebron, Ky., appointed Keith Blachowiak senior vice president of information technology and chief information officer. An Elma resident, Blachowiak will direct the management, operation and development of all information technology (IT) systems within Pomeroy.
Eric Mower and Associates, a marketing communications agency, was honored by the Promotion Marketing Association with a Gold Reggie Award for the "LENOX Get Caught with the Gold" campaign the agency developed. Also, the agency was awarded a Bronze Reggie Award in the Account Specific category for its Fisher-Price, Kodak and Disney at K-Mart campaign.
The agency also won a Silver Award in the Mecury Awards, a global competition, for a five-minute film created pro-bono for Gilda's Club Western New York. The film finished just behind ESPN in the promotions/documentary category.
The Buffalo branch of AXA Advisors was awarded the President's Trophy, the company's award for its top 10 branches nationwide. Recognition is based on management effectiveness, sales development and profitability. This is the sixth consecutive time the branch achieved this award.

The Chautauqua Region Community Service Foundation awarded $3,090 through a Community Service Grant to the Junior Achievement of Western New York to benefit JA's financial literacy and workforce preparation programs for the K-12 youth in the Falconer, Jamestown, and Westfield school districts.
