Dorothea A. Tober of South Bend, Ind., formerly of North Tonawanda, died last Friday in Regency Place of South Bend, 10 days before her 94th birthday.
Born Dorothea Kolbe in North Tonawanda, she was a past president of the Wurlitzer Park Garden Club and served on the board of directors of the
Lutheran Service Society of Western New York.
She had been in charge of the Ruth Guild Gift Shop at Lutheran Camp Pioneer, Angola.
Active through the years in church choirs, she was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, South Bend.
Her husband of nearly 40 years, Reinhardt, died in 1972.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith Umbaugh of South Bend; three sons, Ronald of North Tonawanda, Gary of Houston and Paul of Tipp City, Ohio; a sister, Irene Guido of North Tonawanda; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, South Bend. Burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, North Tonawanda.
