Carolyn L. Mervine, longtime secretary for a food brokerage owned by her husband, died Wednesday in her Buffalo home, apparently of a heart attack. She was 67.
A native of Franklinville, the former Carolyn Thompson was secretary of James S. Mervine Co. from 1977 to 2005.
Mrs. Mervine was a graduate of Lafayette High School and enjoyed taking part in a card club and watching soap operas and game shows.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, James S.; a daughter, Belinda L. Giomundo of Kenmore; a son, David S. of Buffalo; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services were private.
