A slew of football personalities are scheduled to speak at the Athletes in Action "Victory Beyond Competition Experience" breakfast, to be held 9 a.m. April 8 at the Adam's Mark Hotel.

Scheduled to appear are: Buffalo Bills General Manager Marv Levy, Indianapolis Colts GM Bill Polian, former Bills Frank Reich and Steve Tasker, ex-Patriots linebacker Don Davis and recording artist Michael English.

The Buffalo Regals Women's Senior B hockey team won the Spring Break Tournament in Burlington, Ont., by beating the Burlington Barracudas, 2-1, in double overtime in the championship game.

Members of the Regals Senior B team are: Sarah Roth, Lauren Blas, Jasmine Marcucci, Laura Herby, Tami Schoenhals, Brianna Auer, Denise Denecke, Kathy Kreppel, B.G. Metzger, Erin MacAllister, Nancy Sutfin, Tami Clayton, Nicole Siwik, Crissy Michalek, Barb Kaczmarek, Sara Sharp, Karen Karamanoukian, Linda Groff and Shawnee Oberholtzer. Stan Blas and Ken Metzger are coaches.

BASKETBALL: Tryouts for the Niagara PAL/ACE Showcase all-star games will be held March 28 (boys) and March 29 (girls) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Niagara Falls High School. The games will be held at Niagara Falls on April 4 with the girls game starting at noon. . . . The Mark Williams Memorial Tournament, for boys and girls in grades 5-12, will be held April 21-23 at Niagara University. The cost is $125, with a two-game guarantee. FOOTBALL COACHING: Head coach Turner Gill and his University at Buffalo staff will conduct a coaches' clinic 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 25 at UB's stadium complex. The clinic is sponsored by the WNY Football Coaches Association and is open to all youth, high school and college coaches. The cost is $10 to association members, $20 for others. GIRLS HOCKEY: There will be a free open skate and informational session for registered West Seneca players on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Seneca Ice Rink.

POWER SKATING: The Steal the Show Overspeed and Power Skating School is holding a pre-tryout skating clinic March 26, 27, 28, 29 and April 2, at Holiday Twin Rinks. The clinic is open to Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget age players. Call 627-2758 or e-mail rmaxick@verizon.net.
