Lauretta R. Lang of Castile, who at one time ran a dairy farm, died Monday in Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw, of complications from a fall three months ago. She was 86.
Born Lauretta Musty in South Wales, she graduated from Arcade High School. She and her husband, Floyd, bought a small dairy farm in Gainesville in 1953 and operated it until 1972.
Her husband died in 1983, and she moved to Castile.
Mrs. Lang was a member of the Castile Historical Society and North Gainesville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Holly Engquist of Bend, Ore.; two sons, Chester of Brussels, Belgium, and Barron of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; a brother, John Musty of South Wales; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Watson-Harmon Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St. Burial will be in Wales Hollow Cemetery.
