A memorial Mass for Martin C. Harris, a retired security officer, was offered Feb. 27 in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Hamburg. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The Hamburg resident died Feb. 15 in Veterans Affairs Medical Center after a long illness. He was 76.
Born in Rochester, Mr. Harris graduated from Hamburg High School and was in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a third-generation upholsterer, once worked at Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Lackawanna and held various sales positions before working in security at Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
He was a member of the honor guard at Hamburg Township Post 1419, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
His wife, Kathryne A. Hulbert Harris, died Oct. 27.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathryne M. Curtin of Anglola and Anne M. Osborne of Rochester; two sons, Leonard M. of Rhode Island and Michael P. of Florida; a sister, Patricia F. of Hamburg; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
