>Kmiec, Falletta to attend music center dedication
Bishop Edward U. Kmiec and JoAnn Falletta, music director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, will be featured guests when Holy Angels Academy, Shoshone Drive and Hertel Avenue, dedicates its new music center at 6 p.m. April 4.
The music center, installed on the third floor of the academy's former convent, includes a 700-square-foot rehearsal studio, five practice rooms and storage space for instruments and other supplies.
"We're proud to be adding this music center and the expanding music curriculum it will house to our already strong course offerings in art and academics generally," said Principal JoAnne Grippi.
