Gerald Maynard, a former supervisor of motor equipment at Buffalo Niagara International Airport, died Saturday in Odd Fellows & Rebekah Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Lockport, after a long illness. He was 75.
Mr. Maynard was born in Yates and graduated from Medina High School.
He retired from his airport job in 1998 after 14 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Medina.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, the former Mary Lou Fiegl; two daughters, Kathleen Berlin of Orlando, Fla., and Patricia Mark of Medina; a son, Frank of Gasport; two sisters, Helen Fitts of Lockport and Shirley Parham of Voorheesville; and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Church, 211 Eagle St. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
