Lillian S. Drummond, a native of Scotland, died Wednesday in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 87.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Miss Drummond was educated in Scotland and served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service, the Scottish army, during World War II.
She immigrated to Niagara Falls in 1950 and went to work as a secretary for Ambassador Leather Goods. Miss Drummond moved in 1970 to Arizona, where she continued to work for Ambassador until retiring later that decade.
She returned to Niagara Falls in 1995.
Miss Drummond enjoyed bowling, reading, knitting and the arts -- especially theater.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Spallino-Amigone Funeral Home, 1300 Pine Ave.
