Jim Carrey comes downtown -- sort of -- at 2 p.m. Sunday as the Shea's Free Family Film Series presents "Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events." News reviewer Toni Ruberto wrote that the film "brings the bleak and bizarre world of the much-loved children's books to life." Check it out at 646 Main St. Also this weekend, 97 Rock hosts its Classic Rock Art Show at Walden Galleria Mall, One Galleria Drive, Cheektowaga. The show, which features the art of the Beatles, goes through Sunday.
