>Voters approve projects totaling $3.9 million

ATTICA -- A $3.9 million renovation project for the Attica Central School District passed Tuesday on a 923-368 vote.

School officials said $3.2 million of the project is eligible for state reimbursement.

Voters defeated a previous roofing and pool repair project last November.

School officials have said the first tax increase will show up during the 2007-08 school year.

Renovations at the Attica Middle and High School building include $2.9 million for work on the pool and a roof replacement. Other major projects are $320,250 in roof work at Prospect Elementary School and $393,750 in work at Sheldon Elementary School.
