Irma Lee Chatmon, a retired food service worker, died Feb. 15 in Delaware Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. She was 77.
Ms. Chatmon, a lifelong resident of Buffalo, was a graduate of Fosdick-Masten Park High School. She later worked as a food service employee at Children's Hospital until her retirement in 1993. She received her 25-year award in 1983.
Survivors include a brother, Franklin D.R. Chatmon of Buffalo; a lifelong friend, Pearliemae Hargo of Buffalo; three grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday in Thomas T. Edwards Funeral Home, 995 Genesee St.
