Diane L. Sorg of Orchard Park, a homemaker, died Tuesday, her 83rd birthday, in The Waters of Orchard Park nursing home after a struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born Diane Alberalla in Buffalo, she attended South Park High School and worked at Hewitt Rubber Co. in Buffalo during World War II.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Orchard Park Post 567, American Legion.
She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, David; five daughters, Nancy Obringer and Bonnie Tutuska, both of Orchard Park, Susan Robison of Lake Lotawana, Mo., Sharon of Ithaca and Deborah Critoph of Hamburg; a sister, Philamena Brennan of Buffalo; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held today in F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, Orchard Park. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Orchard Park.
